About Me
Who am i?
Hey there! I'm Kaan Kahraman, I was born in 1999 in Ankara, Turkey. I started using computers when I was just 2 years old since then I really love computers and I always try to understand how things work inside computers. I started my programming journey when I was 11 years old. I developed my first game using GameMaker and I loved how you can create something using nothing but words. Also, I wrote lots of Bash scripts when I was in secondary school. When I got into high school I started learning HTML/CSS and some JavaScript to write small websites with Php in the back end. I started my university life at Hacettepe University as a Chemical Engineer. In my second year at Hacettepe University, I wanted to revive my coding skills and started to learn Python and Computer Science basics. After three years of studying Chemical Engineering, I decided to follow my passion and left Chemical Engineering to become a Computer Engineer. Right now I'm studying Computer Engineering at Baskent University.
My career goals
I want to specialize in Back-End Engineering and Mobile Platform Developments. One of the most significant goal for me is combining the engineering knowledge I have acquired so far with my personal growth and my fast learning capability to become a good Software Engineer.
My Interests
Other than computers I also love music, running, movies and animals. I used to play the saxophone for almost 2 years and some of my favourite genres are Jazz, Jazz-Hop, Lo-Fi and Indie Rock. I also love animals and worked for foundations that are helping wildlife and animals. I'm also a huge fan of horror movies and Stephen King novels.
